Pav Bhaji

Pav bhaji is India's most loved street food. The tangy, spicy mix of vegetables with floating butter on the top when served with hot bread that's fried in butter, will surely make your mouth water. This super delicious street food is equally easy to make at home. It has high nutritional value as well and is a great way to intake vegetables which otherwise, kids don't prefer eating.
So here goes the recipe to pamper your taste buds.

Ingredients:-

  • Ghiya (Lauki) / Bottle-gourd -  1 bowl
  • Sitafal(petha) / Pumpkin - 1 bowl
  • Gajar/ Carrots - 1 bowl , medium diced
  • Gobhi/ Cauliflower - 1 bowl
  • Matar/ gream peas - 1 small bowl
  • Shimla mirch / capsicum - 1 small bowl
  • Tamatar / tomatoes - 6
  • Pyaaz / Red onion -  2, finely chopped
  • Adarka /Ginger - 1 inch block , finely sliced or grated
  • Lehsun / Garlic -  8 to 10 cloves
  • Hari mirch/ Green chilli -To garnish
  • Dhaniya / Fresh coriander - To garnish
  • Nimbu / lemon - to garnish
  • Namak/Salt - 1 spoon or to taste
  • Lal mirchi ka powder / red chilli powder - 1 spoon
  • Dhaniya powder / dried coriander powder - 1 spoon
  • Amchur / mango pwder - 1 spoon
  • Garam masala ** - 1 spoon
  • Pav bhaji masala - 2 spoons
  • Tel / oil - 2 big spoons
  • Makhan / butter - 1/2 bowl
  • Pav / Soft bread
