Moong Dal halwa
Moong dal halwa is a lip smacking, rich and a sweet delight that is cherished in north India. This delicacy is relished mainly during winters and is known to keep the body warm. It provides enough heat to body to keep it away from bitter cold.

Ingredients :
1) Moong dal/ split yellow gram (yellow lentils) - 125 gms.
2) Dudh/Milk - 250 lts.
3) Cheeni/Sugar - 100 gms
4) Dry fruits - 50 gms.
Dry fruits mainly consist of chaar magaz ( almonds, cantaloupe, water melon and pumpkin seeds), Almonds/Badaam, Kaju/Cashews.
5) Choti elaichi ka powder / Green cardamom - 1/4th spoon
